CAD E100S
A low-noise, flexible large diaphragm condenser. Slightly more round in tone than many other LDCs.

Great for kick drums, this boundary microphone sits inside of the kick drum and has a punchy character.
Lauten Snare Mic
Made for snare drums, this microphone sounds better than most other microphones often used on snares. Also works very well for aggressive rock vocals.

Not enough people know about this great-sounding alternative to Decapitator. Featuring oversampling and linear phase options, this distortion sounds amazing and is great for using in parallel due to its linear phase capability.

IK Multimedia Tonex
What basically amounts to a Kemper in the box, this plugin is known for being able to use "captures" of guitar amplifiers, recreating them flawlessly in plugin form. Featuring a nice user-generated library to sift through.

Vocal mixing all-in-one. I really like the pitch shifting in this, better than Little Alterboy.

Essential for mastering; a great limiter, exciter, imager, and more. It has a permanent seat on our main recording and template.
Newfangled Audio Saturate
This clipper features "detail preservation" options that can make it sound more clean than many of its competitors.
Knock Audio Knock
Featuring transient enhancement, bold saturation, sub-bass enhancement, air enhancement, and a great-sounding clipper, this plugin is almost similar to a channel strip for modern drum production. Can also be used to great effect on mix busses or in mastering.
Cradle Audio The God Particle
Jaycen Joshua's much-lauded mix buss finishing plugin, featuring multi-band compression and limiting.

Great for completely transforming a sound, featuring an array of internal effects that can be modulated over time internally.

Auratone 5C Super Sound Cubes
These little speakers are great for checking how a mix might sound on smaller speakers - and for focusing right on the midrange, where most of the important stuff happens in a mix.
Presonus Eris 3.5" Studio Monitors
Yes, they're nothing fancy, but that's the point: these speakers are a great way to check how a mix will translate to speakers that are less expensive but still have a wide frequency response.
Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Headphones
These have been my favorite headphones for years. They sound great, and their reasonable price tag means that real human beings actually own and use them - so you know that you're hearing what other people on nice headphones are hearing.
Presonus Monitor Station V2
A nice monitor controller and headphone amplifier that makes switching between 3 pairs of monitors and feeding multiple different headphones a piece of cake.
